Yes, it's official...we have a talkative one! At 20 months old he continues to amaze us everyday with the words he repeats and uses.
Video 1: He is really into crayons as of late. Here is a video of Cooper talking to me while coloring. If you want to see him say his name (Cooper Koepke) please check out 1:12. Oh yeah, it's awesome!
Video 2: He is also really into using strings of beads to make shapes, letters, and counting. Yeah, mardi gras beads -- thanks for the educational value.
We went to Baby Dylan's house for dinner and a football game. Baby Dylan hung out in the Johnny Jump Up during dinner. When Baby Dylan was done, Cooper walked up to it and said "in in". Even though I am sure he is beyond the weight requirement, I put him in. He loved it! And this continued over a few days. The Johnny Jump Up had to come out at our house, for both Baby Dylan and Cooper. Since the reappaerance, it has helped Cooper learn how to do big jumps, tiny jumps, stopping, spinning, swinging, and we are working on the hop. I finally caught a video a few days into the new adventure. Who know this baby toy could be so beneficial to a big kid? He no longer is an awkward jumper ;)
Cooper has this detangler (because his hair is so long that bath time and combing were becoming quite the chore!) and there is a picture of a little girl on the front of it. Every time he sees it he says, "Amalia" and gives the little girl kisses. (Amalia is my best friend's daughter.) It's super cute!
Oh fun times at Lark Toys! What an amazing place to visit with amazing friends. Cooper had his first carousel ride. He wasn't so sure at first but he got used to it. I am not sure the rest of the people got used to my mustached paparazzi husband at the carousel ;) The place is amazing and so worth checking out for their handmade toys, toy museu, and handcarved carousel -- http://www.larktoys.com/ -- neat stuff.
November 19, 2011 -- Yeah, UW-L Turkey Trot!! Cooper had to drink some water at the end of the race because he was spent! He did the last leg of the race on his own (the lap around the track) with several (and I mean several) stops to dance to the motivating tunes.
